Ok, now i'm going to show you why Thai Life insurance : Silence of Love ad is relevant with insurance
So, first thing first we most know the plot and the character in the video
Character :
- The Old Man : He's the girl's father who can't speak from beginning when he's born. He just ordinary father that can't even speak and only earn money by selling street food
- The Girl : The Old Man's daughter. She's just normal girl not like her father that can't speak that want to have a normal father that can speak
Begin with the daughter's life. She just normal girl that going to school everyday and everyday her father always drove her to school. Before his daughter go into the class his father always remind her to study hard and became a smart person one day with his body language because his father can't speak when he's born. But this is where the controversy begin. Because his father can't even speak, her classmate always bullying him that her father is a dumb person. Day after day the daughter facing the reality, her classmate that always bullying her and her father that always using body language. And so the day has come the daughter's birthday. But when his father preparing the birthday party and his speech for her daughter, he heard a very loud noise in his daughter's room. When he open the door he saw his daughter already covered much blood on her arms. And so as soon as possible he bring her daughter to the hospital. He begging the doctor to save his daughter at all cost, he offered his house exchange for his daughter's life. Eventually he begging the doctor to take all his blood for sake of his daughter. And so his daughter is safe but not his life (not sure if the father die from losing blood)
Why this ad considered as insurance commercial ?
In my opinion, because we can see this family is very poor (judging from the house) but the daughter of the video still can go to school (fuctional of an insurance). And when the daughter is dying she still get treatment from hospital (which is antoher benefit of an insurance).
So, the conclusion is that insurance very important to have one. Because we don't know when we or the member of our family die or got accident or even get broke.
